That Az. Cali blue F50 was my favorite!!! OMG, I'd stop by Ferrari of Dallas to look at it at least 2-3 times a week. Too bad its sold & painted back to red.
I most definitely agree. It is gorgeous! How many were made in that color, probably just that one right?
I apologise if I appear to be ignorant about Ferrari cars. I would like to ask if Ferrari had ever produced right hand drive F50s before? If yes, could someone please upload the pictures?
I would say Yes. I am certain they would have produced at least some RHD F50s. Tried looking for a picture, but cannot find a single one.........
Yes. They went to the sultan of Brunei. Here is a pic of one. This is the only pic of a RHD F50 i have.
..It's about time we made a "F50 pictures" thread ! =) Mike, this ones for you... Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Is there anyone in FerrariChat with an F50? There are Enzo owners, F40 owners, and owners for just about every Ferrari out there, becides the F50!
Today 08:06 PM VROOM!!! Is there anyone in FerrariChat with an F50? There are Enzo owners, F40 owners, and owners for just about every Ferrari out there, becides the F50! VROOM, I know someone in your area that owns 2 of them, and he's the coolest guy that you'd ever want to meet. He's not on F-Chat though. His name is Dick Marconi, and you can see his F50s 5 days a week at his Museum.(I work at the Museum.) He has 2 red ones, one with the hardtop on, one without. I think some of the best pictures are here at: http://www.fast-autos.net/features/marconi/index.html Here are some pictures when he took 2 of his F50s to the car show that I put on at my campus (Claremont McKenna College). http://www.fast-autos.net/features/claremont/index.html This is an article about the show with another picture of one of his F50s. http://www.claremontmckenna.edu/news/insidecmc/2003may/carshow/ I know of one other guy in the area that has an F50. He also has a 360 Challenge Stradale, F40, Enzo, Saleen S7 and a Carrera GT, among other things. I have never driven Dick's F50, but I have gotten a ride. The interior is spartan, the ride is harsh, and you feel EVERY vibration of the engine and the road. But, it is unbelievably fast, and the engine positively howls. It is an amazing car, and I think that the F50 is my favorite part of his collection. If you are interested in going down to the Museum, just send me a PM. I can arrange something. Best, Jeff
Here are some F50 pics taken at Brands Hatch on 11 October. Ya i have heard and see many pictures of the Marconi museum. Man that museum is sweet and the coolest part is that he owns all those cars! Amawing! I am going to have to ckeck them out one day though! Thanks...
Armen, Thanx for the pics!! It still hurts me that the Az. Blue F50 was painted back to red. I can't wait to live the day that I can buy an F50 & have it painted Azurro Blue. For now, my '02 BMW 325i will have to do.
Not implying its my car... but I took the pix. Dont be a toolbag, look closer and notice theyre different cars anyways.
