Thanks I just through them together. its really easy to use diferent parts of cars. if you really want to know how to do it PM me. FM
It's pretty easy, I do not know if you have the option in the program that you use or not though. In the program that I use (Microsoft Picture It!) there is a change color option where you can change the pictures color tone to pratically any color. The only thing is, if there are many colors in your picture, those will also change to different colors. All the reflections stay the same though.
I use photoshop 7.0 Is there an easier way than selecting a shade of color on the car and then messing with the hue and saturaion and what not?
I'm not sure about that with photoshop. I think that messing with the hue, saturation, shade, etc. is the only way to do it. Its not that hard once you get used to it and an idea on how to do it. As I said, it's easiest with pictures that don't have a rainbow of colors. I am messing with different pictures right now and getting some better results.
I did several effects to that. First I sharpened the picture a little bit. Next I used an illusion tool to create the water-color looking effect. Then I used a distortion tool to distort the picture a little bit (give is a little curvy effect). Lastly I added a little shadow to the edges, using a shadowing tool. It is very easy to do that with the program that I use (Microsoft Picture It! 1999). There are easy tools that give you all of those options. There are different selections to automatically distort, and add different styles of certain effects. All the things I did to that one were automatic selections. Picture It is a great small scale photo editing program. It has many great effects that you can do.
Well you besides changing the Hue/Saturation you have to play around with the levels (ctrl+l) and contrast. It's actually quite easy after a few tries.
I remember I almost got the hang of it on my old pc that had photoshop 6.0 then it died on me. So now I have to re learn everything =(
I borrowed this one from the vintage section. Don't want to P.O. anyone. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Actually, it's a 550 with Novitec kit. You can see a picture I posted on the same page of the same car.
Here is one I just did with the same effect as earlier. Lamborghini Gallardo Spyder. My picture once again. I think that the effect works better with brighter colors on the cars though. Image Unavailable, Please Login
One is trying to imagine what a 4-door 400 would look like, the other is when I was even more bored. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
