Does anyone have info on this unique Barchetta? Seems to have a tan front splitter, tan side rockers, and a tan rear light surround. Truly bizarre. Image Unavailable, Please Login
The background might be, but I did some sleuthing and the car is real. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Ouch! Ugly... Barchetta web page #123697 025/448 - giallo modena/naturale, Ron Spangler, MD, USA signed #25/448 "To My Friend Ron Spangler" Pininfarina.
He paid Pininfarina 30k so it would appear on the build sheet. That look is what Mr. Spangler wanted. He also got an early car with that number noted above.
of2worlds, did you see the car? The small plate with this mention is "$". Thanks for the information, I like different cars.
He passed away back in 2018. He owned more than 50 Ferrari models over the years. The Barchetta was probably the most unique spec.
I only saw pictures of the Barchetta when he took delivery. Those models were hard to get when new and were probably the last Ferrari to get a 'number' within the series produced. That arrangement caused too many problems for Ferrari...
50 it s a lot of cars at the end. I wonder which one of them was THE model? Always difficult to reply at this question.
