Not in the same league but fast for me. I just drove the boat from Marathon to Miami on Monday. I like to understress the motors. 33-35K RPM to save fuel. We realized we didn't have nav lights (we were told they worked) so the last 50 miles of water I knew and didn't need to consult the chart. We were racing against the setting sun. I said "stand and deliver" and she did. Turned them up to 4500 doing 55MPH into a 10-15 wind on the nose made relative wind 65-70. We ran 55 f0r 45 minuites straight Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login

The happiest day of my life was the day I bought my 18' Donzi classic. The second happiest was the day I sold it. (image: not my boat, or woman, alas, but both are sort of similar) Image Unavailable, Please Login
And finally, after a 2-year restoration, one of mine will look like this. Image Unavailable, Please Login
I saw a boat like that when I was sailing back in new york a couple years back. Im not really into wood boats but they are very very neat.
While I prefer varnished mahogany to yellow gelcoat ....... it's hard to argue with 2700! hp and 130 mph..... Tritone
thanks james..however a real man's boat should have a multiplicity [min two] of ww1 aero engines !!! [ok..mebbe a pair of ww2 fighter engines but that's stretchin' it.]
