This morning I drove my 612 as far south as I could go, for the 2nd time! Image Unavailable, Please Login
Paul- Way to go. See you have F1-S and Sport selected. Do you ever just use F1-S without Sport to give you the equivalent of a Schumacher switch for the shocks?
I have used just the F1-S, but that was some time ago when I first got the car. Now I just usually drive it in Sport mode. I actually used the Comfort mode most of the time on this trip. I had a major service done this winter by my local independent. Part of it was sending out the shocks to a California company who stated they could rebuild them. Well it turns out when they got them, they said they couldn't do it, duh! By the time they came back there wasn't time to send them out to another company. So I used Comfort mode thinking it would be a little easier on the shocks.
Excellent spec from the Bonhams 'Bonmont Sale' catalog. No photographer credit but I'm assuming Tim Scott. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
The most beautiful ‘non-traditional’ color especially on that shape. Just added to the wish list. With 599 HGTE wheels and a manual, pretty please, Santa.
I agree do you know what the color is called?? The picture does look filtered some I wonder what it would look like on a sunny day?
The wheels on that gold 612 are not challenge wheels, I have challenge wheels on my 599. I was saying I’d like a 612 in that color with a stick and those magical 5 star HGTE wheels.
I thought you meant the blue one. The gold car does not have HGTE wheels either, they are Sessanta wheels.
No kidding! I wrote, I'd love one in that color.... with a stick, and HGTE wheels. The gold one. Post #1601, which does not have challenge wheels or HGTE wheels at the moment, obviously. But I'd love one like that.
No worries at all, make up for it by trading your HGTEs for my Challenges. I'll even buy ya new rubber.
I don't know what wheels the gold 612 has, but I don't think they are Sessanta wheels, or at least not the 19" wheels (photo below) that had for my 2007 Sessanta. I usually had 20" Challenge wheels on the car so posted a photo of another Sessanta with what I think is the "Sessanta" 19" wheel. I visited the Emerald Coast Exotic Cars show in Destin, Florida on Sunday. A good friend of mine sent me this pic from the show that he found in a Facebook post. I'm not sure who the photographer is but I think it's my favorite picture of my car so far. Image Unavailable, Please Login
He got the cove in nicely Hey, what kind of wings are those in your Avatar? My dad was a Command Pilot, but I've never seen the seal instead of the shield.
