Does this mean that indicated colours were the only ones standard available in 1998 ? Mine is Blue Swaters ?
Those are what PPG has listed as standard paint colors for Ferraris from 1998. Blu Swaters Metallizzato was an earlier standard paint color and I have it listed for 1995. I do not have listings for 96 or 97. When was your 550 built?
I've posted a few in the 599/612 picture thread and don't want to hijack the beauty that is 550/575/456. I'll make an exception just this once, but then back to 550 elegance for me in this thread. Just got it back up North from Cavallino, so these pictures are in PB. Image Unavailable, Please Login
And keeping it relevant to this thread. Nearly identical picture I took of the 550 last time it was in PB. Image Unavailable, Please Login
Just stunning!! The front of the 599 looks better than the rear. I know about a set of wheels similar to yours. "Star design" with good front tires and new rear tires. 4k for the set. They are black painted.
Took it out for a spin today. Still amazes me how smooth the V12 power is in the 550. Not to mention the lines just keep growing on me. Thanks to Fchat classifieds, she's been with me for about 18 months. Image Unavailable, Please Login
Eric- Another one with 575 modular. No wonder they are getting hard to find. They look great on 456s, too.
Eric, the picture show exactly the graceful and elegant lines of the Maranello. Combined with the (compared to actual models.....) smaller dimensions for me the best interpretation of a V12 front engined sports car.☺ Saluti, Jürgen
Agree 100%. The lines is just perfection! I watched a few 599/F12 videos last night and I must say the new cars which is still front engine V12 coupe (the gentleman Grand touring theme), has been overstyled to match the Lamborghinis and other supercars. The problem is just that the elegance disappear. Maranellos are just perfect in my opinion!!
Guys, Just looking at that picture is making me want to go and take out my girl out of the garage where she has been for the past two months and drive her. Amazing pictures but I'm sure it must feel great being on that track and opening up that V12. Great ob and hopefully one day I'll do the same. All the best Steve in NY
