    Forgot to say it was actually last year but just been reminded of the photo! Went via Switzerland, Piemonte, Umbria, Calabria, Sicily. Roads of circuit have been seriously damaged by land tremors but great to go round. Back boat to Genoa, drive over Swiss passes, Black Forest and the 'Ring.

    Hope, you had a glass of wine (…or a bottle…:) of the famous wine cultivated at Barbaresco as well!

    Perfect trip, exactly what John mentioned, that's what Maranellos are made for.... Sure, this has been also the intention, when Ferrari developed the model as successor for the Testarossa's. A kind of car, that also the 275 GTB's, 330/365 GTC and Daytona's have been.

    Short of such an inspiring trip I just done some detailing of my 550 today.....

    The military base had an open day , and they had some cars in exhibition , including mine :D :D :D

    In the end of the day they let us thake a photo next to the F16 :D

    Jürgen, our cars now look identical again. I put the stock rims back on! Looks much newer and more expencive believe it or not...

    Thursday i will start for a 1 day trip to Cernobbio in Italy with the 550.
    Weather forecast is excellent, a mild late summer day.
    Perfect for driving the San Bernardino pass and take a good italian lunch like 2 weeks ago with the 599.
