Just saw this Beauty on the hills of Lisbon. Didnt get to chance to see if Manual or F1. Is this anyone on here? My hats off to you... couldn't imagine running a Ferrari on these streets. Well done sir. Third one I have seen in the country this week, saw an FF/Lusso on the road in Cascias and a Portofino at a small dealer Image Unavailable, Please Login

I just love how things come around. Some people who didn't get shields originally got aftermarket ones, but they weren't "stamped into the car". Someone even said "without the dent, it wasn't meant". And now, all the rage on new cars is painted shields that aren't stamped into the car. Bottom line remains, just buy/do what you like.
More like buy whatever someone else liked, since very few of us have had them since new. Mine was 4 years old when I traded a 2008 Z06 towards her.
I would wager for at least the 550 in the US, it has to be low single digits for “original owners”. If for no other reason than when those were new those buyers were likely “mature” since the buy in was so high and those guys would be very “seasoned” by now. I love high mile and long ownership stories. @Montgomery Kersten @otoupalik wouldn’t it be the dream to buy a one owner fully documented Maranello. Not that multiple owners is bad but so cool to get a driver-mile car with one owner. I recall from his posts on Bat that Montgomery even got the luggage with his 550
Second owner for 18+ yrs. Knew pretty much what I wanted, 575, gated, FHP, red. After six month search, found one in the N.E, 2 1/2 y/o, 2500 miles. Never met original owner but he was in the trash hauling business in NYC and later saw later that a person, likely his father had been arrested by FBI for, among other things, contract killing.
My gut tells me that a “long marriage” with a Maranello is 12-ish years so Terry, you definitely belong in the “long owner club”.
The day I test drove and bought my 1999 550...
