The tray was a historically, custom made item (not by me). I like it, smart set up. My only complaints are not having enough time generally and it’s silly but it’s still at my mechanic (since May 2nd) for the annual…his backlog is so robust. In defense of my mechanic, I’ve also not pressured him on time.
It’s gps and a backup camera display. That might not be for everyone but it’s so insightful and smart by the prior owner and another of a long list of things I’m grateful for on this car.
It’s special. I hope to own/enjoy it for a very long time and I hope my wife or daughters keep it when I’m gone.
Wow! I have never seen that setup! Looks very practical and factory like. Sent from my iPhone using FerrariChat
I am pretty sure it was made by macarbon. I think @tazandjan also has some pieces from them? https://www.macarbon.com/ferrari-30538/550575-maranello/550575-interior-parts Pretty sure my carbon vent rings are from them as well
Cool to see this one back to the OG color. Photo from Scott Chiasson. Image Unavailable, Please Login

Can someone please explain the interior changes. I’m seeing a different shifter setup similar to 550 maranello, I see a button next to the shifter itself in the corner, I see a button next to the steering wheel on the right and I see lots of buttons on the door panel itself, possibly massage seats?
At the Marconi museum, I got up up close there 456 Venice Spider that was also destined for the BRF, but never got there. I see some similarities as well. The controls on the door are likely seat controls. Another user pointed out to me on the spider, they had BMW e31 seats installed. So I would guess the Wagon is likely the same. Notice the spider has the seats and belts swapped sides, vs wagon and normal cars. The seat belt receivers sit higher on the wagon than on my car too. On all the RHD 456 cars the shifter was in the center and the ashtray moved aft of the HVAC controls (under the license plate on the wagon photos) Not sure what the other switches you mention do, but there is a least a rear wiper that would need controlling and perhaps one is also a rear window lock button Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
You know they only made 7 of these. And basically this is the only one that's ever been out in public.... Hopefully someone this week can chat with the current care taker of it as well as get some great interior shots. I'm talking to you @Ferrari55whoa Otherwise you should post your question on the Brunei collection thread. They have some people on there who have worked on site with the collection over the years. https://www.ferrarichat.com/forum/threads/sultan-of-bruneis-car-collection.85959/page-44#post-149772447
Long but amazing day at the Quail. Eye candy every few feet all over Monterey. Def keeping my eyes open for this tomorrow as well.
I was at the pebble beach forum today and asked Farrah about the 456 sighting he posted and did he talk with an owner/handler and he said no….just saw the car and appreciated it. It was not at the FOC Thursday event or the Quail yesterday or the FOC barnyard event today. Image Unavailable, Please Login
