Great Merc. I love these. Great GT car. Love the exhaust sound when opened up.
I agree. The car rides really well and the pops and burbles are addicting. I was vacillating between this and a Lusso and couldn't pass this up. The gearbox is definitely smoother on the Merc whereas my 458 has more "feel". Obviously different cars and both in a good way.
Sorry I’ve been busy Truck is ‘54 Chevy 3100. Full rebuild, stateside, about 20 years ago. Paint is still excellent. Runs a 500hp 502 crate BBC, T56 out of a Camaro and a disc brake 9” with 4.56:1 gears. Has Mustang 2 front end grafted in with power rack and pinion steering. Drives really well but has too much power for the chassis. Not too bad on fuel unless you stand on it, then it’ll drink more than a Veyron

I’ve been meaning to take some pictures of my small fleet all together and finally got around to aligning good weather and enough free time (thanks holiday weekend) to actually do it. Love the F40 - wish i had bought one a decade ago when they weren’t so silly priced. My local dealer has one for sale for $3.8M - it has under 400 miles which I wouldn’t want since I like to drive my cars but wow…
It has been a dream, for sure. Got it with 5800 miles 3 years ago, and it is currently sitting at just around 11k miles now. I can't stop driving it. I can't think about values or it would just sit. Luckily the visceral response to driving it tends to drown all other thoughts away.
