    I agree, Dave. Ronaldo is 2 time World Cup winner , whereas that cheat Maradonna has only won it once.

    How could I not list Zico from Brazil in my prior post at your another thread. Pele, Beckenbauer, Zico must be historical vintage players in the soccer history.

    I can sort of agree what isellpower said. In the US, there's not many I can talk about pro soccer thus many famous world-class players are not well known here. Thus thinking soccer career is not impressive can be understood ONLY looking at the US. Now, these soccer players are more widely known over the world than......

    Untill I saw these thread, I haven't thought of Mueller nor Beckenbauer for more than 20 years.

    I wonder how well these NBA & NFL players are known in the world wide...
