    judging by the comparison with Nico, Lewis' team mate, I'd say when it comes to the actual race pace, Lewis Hamilton is almost as good as the 40+ year old Michael Schumacher. (not the first F1 stint)

    Discuss.

    Seems obvious to me. When MS had no problems, he usually raced well ahead of Nico in the race.

    Here, Nico and Lewis are neck and neck.

    Michael's pace always got quicker usually about mid race. Lewis I suspect hasn't fully warmed up to the car and his setup yet so I'll give him a few races. Nico is every bit the match for either of them though.

    Yet Nico has never been able to put it all together despite years and years of attempts....that has to be remembered when comparing drivers. Wonder what Nico would have done with Michael's Benneton?

    Two races in with one being short filled is way too soon to call it.

    Although,if Nico compares well to Nico, that says a lot for MS!

    -LH is arguably the most talented driver on the grid
    -2nd race with a new team and a new car
    -LH was told to tone it down, so nico was not faster than him because he was better
    -LH out qualified nico
