Straight from the (non-prancing) horse's mouth Lewis talking about any move to Ferrari in the future: https://www.skysports.com/f1/news/12433/11802821/lewis-hamilton-on-ferrari-and-why-he-has-no-desire-to-leave-mercedes Sid has obviously been reaching out to him!: Upon arriving at Monza, the Scuderia's famous home F1 track, Hamilton said he still receives messages from Ferrari fans asking him to join, but was non-committal over his future when asked by Sky F1 if the switch "tempts" him.
Ferrari lets everybody dream they can join them... https://www.motorsport.com/f1/news/maldonado-ferrari-talks-williams/4530975/
I would never ever want that prancing prat in a red car.... I’d rather have maldonado than that self centred pillock.... just so I’m clear, no way Jose!
Did you catch the Spa FP3 crowd audio for each telecast replay of Hammy's shunt? Louder and louder cheers. Croft and Brundle awkwardly quiet about it (after five or so replays the booth finally got a clue silenced that feed, ha). He just isn't very well liked.
Seriously why would he want to leave? Where I live, Toronto, we have the same delusions with our most popular sports team...”...every player wants to be a fabled maple leaf” in spite of having not won anything significant in 50 years. And none of the big stars ever sign here, unless it’s when theyre well past their prime, or unless it’s for much more than their market value. Lewis and Merc is a winning combination that neither side wants to risk, nor should they. Winning fixes all problems and is more valuable than whatever colour of your uniform.
No reason for either party to make this happen. Hamilton is in the most dominant team in the history of F1 and no other team other than Mercedes can win a championship and Ferrari has Leclerc who is probably faster and is way younger for the future. Looks like the press is having a slow news day and is trying to invent drama to keep everyone’s attention even though the drivers and constructors championship is all bur sewn up already.
I love the talk of loyalty and all the other ******** that goes with it . Money always talks , Ferrari offers Lewis stupid $$ , he would be there faster than we can blink . Question , why would they ? No need , he is at the pinnacle of his career, maybe has a couple of years left , tough to tell when he has such a dominant car but there is so much younger talent that wouldn’t cost as much and Leclerc is almost a shoe in , I don’t see it happening
Ferrari has no need for that prima donna to join the team. Leclerc is maturing fast, is at the start of his career, and they have him for peanuts. Talent is not Ferrari's problem.
Need talented aero/chassis people; LeClerc is better than Hamilton. IMHO he’d be chinning LH if he were in the MB....
Agree on all fronts. He's coping with the flawed Ferrari better than Vettel is in the last 6 or so races. He needed some time to adapt which was kind of expected.
And schumi was loved everywhere except England, where the locals were upset he gave a good hiding to Damon hill - racing’s equivalent to frank bruno. I have to laugh at their continuous and oblivious defence of the clueless prick in the silver arrow Forza Ferrari..... the only racing team and car marque that matters. Italia forever It’s easier to apologise than it is to ask permission
I don't know if you're joking with that post but Leclerc better than Hamilton? LOL can you really compare Leclerc's rookie year and following year to Hamilton's? Can you provide evidence of any F1 driver or anybody outside of Fchatt to proclaim this?
Drivers who achieve years-long championship dominance tend to engender dislike in a sizable portion of race fans. Perhaps in Lewis' case the dislike stems from his "personality." In Michael's case it was likely more about his adherence to the Machiavellian school of racecraft.
You'd think his metallic pink pajamas would counterbalance other aspects of his personality. A man just can't win these days.
Lewis is different, but is he really? He always thanks his team. He always thanks the fans. He has huge social media popularity. What more do people expect from you? This isn't even getting into the fact that when he gets into the car he wins more often than not.
Yeah... Today it is all about "Social Media Popularity"... so he is about as great as the Kadashians Great achievement, not to dispute that Gesendet von meinem SM-G930F mit Tapatalk
In the case of one's world-wide brand, it's these numbers that count. BTW, I don't make the rules, I only see the realities. And those realities add up to $$$$
Absolutely, with two more seasons and a capable car he will be very difficult to beat. Only biased people could not accept facts
But is there any need to praise that? Other people can live without that and that does not mean that they can't afford a decent living...$$$$ is not everything and certainly no measurement for "greatness"! To evaluate a person about his income and social media popularity is very shallow Gesendet von meinem SM-G930F mit Tapatalk
