Calm down and check my other posts recently applauding LH skills and talent. To say others are more stupid with decisions currently is not accurate. LH as I stated before is his own worst enemy. I dont hate LH at all. Check my posts and see before what Ive said. I am in no way a 'hater' nor do I deserve such a label. Keep it to yourself kindly.

Facts, are facts. I do not recall anyone suggesting that Hamilton does not have talent. He certainly does, but not yet as another Moss, Senna, or Schumacher. He has responded with immaturity, call it naive if you wish, to specific factual "incidents" that were not at all those of a supposed superstar.

He is a public figure, and has responsibilities to the public and the sponsors. Without either, there is no F1, there is no Lewis Hamilton. Take a look at the Valentino Rossi thread, he stated three times in his first four sentences his accident was his mistake. I think that is all most people would love to have heard from Lewis Hamilton after he rammed Raikkonen in the pits, this anti Hamilton sentiment would never have become so overwhelming.

If Hamilton had shown the humility most of thought he had, then I would guess most people would still just give the kid a break. Now I wonder if that early humility was just phoney, and Lewis really is a prima donna.

If he manages to overcome such brain fades and win the WDC, good for him, hopefully it will be well earned. But for now, he is only another Jacques in the making.

Someone made a reference to James Hunt, Hunt went on to become the media. I personally watched Hunt for years, he never failed to give an autograph, he always talked to the press, except one time when he had the flu and threw up in his helmet, he begged off an interview after the race. Hunt had a charisma, Hamilton's true nature is still unknown.

I do. But not in public, and not to any media.

But you know what, if you had actually heard the BBC radio broadcast instead of reading what he said. Then maybe you may have a point worth listening to. Listening to him in the past he has said many things in a light hearted way. The same things written down could come across and be misconstrewed as fodder for the haters.

Haters don't care about that possibility though. They try to detract and criticize to make themselves feel better, and make them feel like they know what they're talking about. Fact, and rational discourse, have no place for people like this, it's substituted with ignorant assumptions and conclusion jumping.

    Ok,
1st, I didnt state LH is king of stupid this year.
2nd , I didnt state Massa was king of stupid this year.

Reason's, the year isn't yet over , my post was in response to folk calling LH purile names.

Lewis has made some dumb errors, so do other driver's, why is it that everything he ever, say's ,does , win's and loses, does it turn into a either a, Ahh but, or he is a wanker.

The main error in my book this year was shunting Kimi, and lets face it ,HE was the biggest loser, he will know that, no matter what BS comes out of his mouth.

I love to see him pushing it , but if makes mistakes when doing so ,what can you say it's not as if he isn't trying, when he learns that less is more , he may well become a boring driver, but a certain WDC ,at the min he appears he is not happy until he comes in first, admirable but , 1st 10 points 2nd 8 and so forth why bother, it seems whatever he does he will be bashed, I accept that, but will respond accordingly , if I can be bothered.
If he wants to talk himself up, so be it, and so what. it amazes me the way everything he say's makes so much fuss...

    Sorry if I assumed .. ;)

There may be some people that like to "hate", but I do not think that is the case here. No one is making up Hamilton's actions or his public attitude. That is all his own doing. Don't expect people to automatically be OK with this, they shouldn't be that. Hamilton is showing a negative side, he has brought onto himself any negative response.

What I said before: "If Hamilton had shown the humility most of thought he had, then I would guess most people would still just give the kid a break. Now I wonder if that early humility was just phoney, and Lewis really is a prima donna."

If he hadn't opened his mouth and tried to minimize his two penalties by removing any personal responsibility, when we all know that at least the one from Canada was deserved, this Hamilton bashing would have stopped a while ago.

Seems the lesson to be learned by Hamilton is to be careful with what he states in public. Nevertheless, from subsequent interviews, it appears he meant exactly what he said. Doesn't appear he was being "light hearted".
