I don't think that there is a price difference between a sliding window and a regular CS. I think that it's just a bonus having them!
What do you mean "you can't share details"? Do you have info on more than the 38 cars listed or you can't share details on some of the 38 cars? Also since you look to have the best CS database available... do you have a breakdown between interiors in leather and alcantara, and not just colors? for example the most common red/black interior; some of it is in alcantara, some in std. leather.
the lexan window is readily reproduceable and retrofitable, isn't it? hence, no value added except the value of the lexan window itself.
Those 38 cars are in my public database. Thats all public info and listed on the site. But I have details of ~15 more cars with lexan windows that I can't share online. No breakdown by interior material yet, but it's on my to-do list Not really. Cars with original specs will always be worth more than cars with aftermarket add-ons. Plus your car will still have the electric window switches in the center console. I've been told the center console without the window switches are (very) expensive and hard to get.
The lexan window, while probably very unusable in daily driving, sure is a bucketload of badass, in my opinion. As if the CS wasn't already badass enough! I wonder if they ever got the Lexan ones into the USA. I would have expected DOT objections from the word "go" on something like that.
No cars with lexan windows in the US unfortunately (also no rollbar and harnesses in the US). I have only seen the lexan windows on Euro LHD cars and UK RHD cars.
Hey Guys, Just curious with what's going on with the CS lexan window option. Is the front portion a separate portion or is all one piece of lexan with a divider to make it look F40 ish? Can the lexan windows be rolled down?
