Will there be a LFSC concours this year ? Last year was awesome...
I'm sure there will be, I go every year, they never seem to have the date ready until a few days before it happens it seems. I don't get that, I'm surprised as many know about it as their is. I will be there because it is a good time, hopefully it will be good weather like last years'.
From LFSC's web site, it looks like it is scheduled for Sunday, Oct. 12. There is an Aston "ride and drive" this Friday, Sep 26... does anyone know what that is about?
Can I attend this concours as a spectator? I obviously don't have a Ferrari to bring. I wanted to attend last year but wasn't clear if it was an invite situation only. When LFSC was located in downtown Lake Forest they had great concours in the square. My wifes 26th birthday is that weekend as well.
That's the whole point of that concours,to let people who don't have one,see the whole lot of them in one place in a friendly enviroment. Bring the family along...
Great, I look forward to it. I'm sure my folks will come along as well, so long as the Bears game doesn't overlap.
Speaking of Concours.... Anybody who is a member of a car club, Lambo, FCA and so forth has allocated parking at this years Barrington Concours. Just show proof and you can have special parking for your car but you will still have to pay for the parking. I am working the event so I hope to see some Fchat memebers. Jon
The concours is on OCT. 12th. The location is still TBD. We are working on Market Square in downtown Lake Forest, if not it will be at the dealership. I will let you know by the end of the week. Thanks.
I hope that Market Sq. works out, better sense of occassion, nicer venue then dealership's parking space(not that I have anything against it)
Guys, Please let me know if you are attending as we are having the Concours at the dealership on Oct. 12th. Or check our website for the invite, www.lfsc.com. I hope you can all make it. Thanks! P.S. F1 race will be playing as well.
hmm this is tricky. I might have a time conflict. What time does it start? I'll have to be gone by around 2:45.
It is the same day as the Chicago Marathon this year (which is unfortunate). I don't think I will be able to depress my heavy Daytona clutch after the race, so I do not think I am going to attend this year. Joe Seminetta
You mean back? I could live with that, a nice Concours on a Sunday afternoon then Peter Luger a couple days later, should be the makings of great week for myself.
