    Folks,

I'm about to pull the trigger on a 37" Samsung LCD TV (LN37B650). I'm also in the market for a Blue Ray DVD player. Conventional wisdom says to stick with the same brand for both TV and player, however the Samsung DVD player (BDP3600) has very mized reviews (from 'best player ever' to 'locks up all the time' to 'won't play many DVD titles').

On the other hand, the LG DVD player has much better reviews. So any issues with using LG Blue Ray DVD player with Samsung LCD TV? Guys at the store say 'no' except you can't use 1 remote to control both (unless you by programmable universal remote).

Or am I better off going Samsung to Samsung or LG to LG.

I just bought the Samsung 55" LED tv. Great tv by the way. I'm also looking for a Blue Ray. I'm reading the same mixed reviews. There are no issues using the LG with the Samsung. The BDP3600 has a lot of bells and whistles that I probably won't use. But I am leaning toward the BDP3600.
