It's always like that for the new technology though. It's Moore's Law though that: 18 months, the price will drop and the product will be twice as better. I saw the Sunday paper for Best Buy and was shocked at a 1.2" television. Jeez.
I don't know all the hub bub. Last year, Sanyo showed one that was only 5MM thick. It looked like a post card from the edge. I'm heading over to CES tomorrow. I'm rather curious about all the new 3D Tv stuff.
