Nope. I've been watching F1 for 25 years, i have'nt seen a driver yet who does everything correct. As a fan you just have to accept sports figures are just human.

Not true- it means the same guy will win because he has the best car and a below average teammate.
People would have the same reaction after a year with Russell in the car

Bottas ain't bad actually. Lewis is just so many levels better.

The fact that Russell did well is because he is another Senna in the making. Put regular midfielder into that car and Bottas will trump him.

    You won't make it.

Some of the worst posts ever came out after his skiing accident where people predicted he'd be wiping the floor with the competition upon his return. Heck, he didn't do that before the accident. Rosberg schooled him for three years in a row.

Don't rewrite history, Lewis has made pit calls before that turned out to be the right decision. Tires won't stop Lewis, the guy won with 3 tires for Pete's sake

No that is blasphemy or ignorance. Senna in a TOLEMAN does 2nd in Monaco ,two 3rd places, two 6th places.
Come on now. Can’t even compare.

I liked Prost and Lauda as much as Michael. Senna and Hamilton were/are also great but neither ever made me cheer for them. Something a little too girly about both of them. Not gay...just not...adult-manly.

Make a list of Michael’s serious injuries during the period 2007-2009 and this will help you think.

  21. I've been following for nearly sixty and agree (except for Jim.....).

'Was a fan of Michael's until Adelaide, 1994 when his "human" side showed up.

  22. At the same time, this is F1, not arm wrestling..... :p

Just for the record: I was at the Monaco GP where Senna was brilliant in the Toleman, I do have an idea about him.

Did you read my post? I said Senna in the making. And I stand by that. Russell is a future WDC.

PS: I made a similar comment when a young Schumacher put a crap car 7th on the Spa grid. Sometimes super talents are blatantly obvious.

    https://www.autosport.com/f1/news/154148/hamilton-not-100%25-after-being-bedridden-by-covid

Lewis Hamilton says he feels "not 100%" upon his return to Formula 1 action in Abu Dhabi after being "bed-ridden" by COVID-19 last week.

Seven-time world champion Hamilton was forced to miss last Sunday's Sakhir Grand Prix after testing positive for COVID-19, but recovered from the virus in time to return for Abu Dhabi practice on Friday.

The Mercedes driver qualified third for the season finale at the Yas Marina Circuit, finishing behind Red Bull's Max Verstappen and team-mate Valtteri Bottas.

Hamilton said he was "grateful to be back" in the Mercedes W11, but admits he was "not 100%".

"I can really feel for those who have suffered from it, those that have lost ones from it, and can understand how because it's a nasty virus," Hamilton said.

"I'm not 100%. I still have some feeling within my lungs.

"But nonetheless, normally I would drive even if one of my arms is hanging off. That's what we do as racing drivers. Luckily that's not the case.

"It definitely won't be the easiest of races, physically, but I will manage and give it absolutely everything I've got."

Hamilton was forced to complete 10 days of self-isolation in Bahrain after his positive test, and said he was "bed-ridden" for most of the week.
