Anyone on here completed a conversion ? In our country you may not register a LHD car . If you take import duties and vat into account importing a RHD car is substantially more expensive due to there premium purchase price . I tried a search but not much came up .

Would be easier if you had a front end clip taken from a RHD car that rolled or was rear-ended in an accident to swap everything.
Otherwise, as alluded above, might be a nightmare.

Hi all, reviving this post as I am recently offered a Challenge 360, since its going into a full strip down rebuild I would like to take the chance to explore converting it to the wrong side (RHD).

Would like to know from anyone who has experience in chopping up a 360 before,
    - is the front bulkhead fundamentally different between a LHD and a RHD? ie the metal are formed different so it would require cutting into it in a conversion?
    - I have also a RHD modena in my possession should I opt for swapping the whole front frame or cut down the challenge's front to accommodate the pedal box and battery mount?
    - Any more technical details I should be mindful of for the purpose of further research? So far I know the steering rack, battery, fuse box, pedal box are main concerns but anything more?

Again I am in an exploratory stage only any inputs welcomed (including all the future value/ desecrating an original race car comments etc)
My reason is that I live in a RHD country and I would like to register this on the road (after all the necessary modification of course exhaust, road clutch, etc)

    Tyvm guys.

I think that guy Matt did something similar on YouTube. Helps to have a ton of money and friends who are super skilled at welding.

One of the simplest cars to convert.

I'm not so sure about that , the front bulkhead is different . So that needs to be changed out on the chassis . You cant just bolt the RHD pedal box into a LHD chassis .

I would have thought the bulkheads were the same stamping, just drilled different for LHD to RHD, I can't imagine Ferrari stamping specific bulkheads, that would be costly and time consuming to have the stamps and to change them for each car, could be wrong

If you look at this pic of the bulkhead ( LHD ) The hole with all the bolt holes is for the pedal box and the hole on the LHS with the brackets is for the aircon unit . Its completely different on a RHD car .
