Greetings. I am new here, my wife and I just purchased a 1999 F355 Ferrari from a neighbor who was getting transfered back to Europe for work. Turned out to be a win/win situation for all involved, he got rid of the car and I had the chance to pick up the car I'd been lusting over for the better part of the last 5 years :). Anyhow, I am located in St. Augustine, FL and the closest Ferrari dealership to me is Ferrari of Central Florida. Since the car did not have a Ferrari dealership plate frame I was hoping a fellow member would be willing to part with one so I didn't have to drive 3 hours just to grab one from the dealership.

Thank you in advance and I'd be willing to pay whatever the price is to acquire this frame, I'd just like to have one to put on my new baby, regardless of what dealership it is from.

I would think that any dealer you ask would be willing to send you one of thiers. It's free advertising for them.

    ...I was just gonna say...

There's no way you should pay for something that is merely an advertisement. The dealer should pay *you* somehow (discounted parts, service, etc.), for rocking their plate - especially if you're a good distance away, as it might encourage others to go see them vs. another dealer.

    Just my 2 cents.

At any rate, welcome to the world of FChat, and congrats on your new 355! IMO, it's one of the best - if not *the* best - "modern" (i.e., 90's and newer) mid-engined V8 designs Ferrari has produced.

IMHO, I would go with a very simple mat-black frame with no Ferrari name on it, dealer or otherwise. Less is more.
