I just imported my 360 from the US, got thru the SVA, MOT and registration process. Now, I'm being told that I have to put licenses plates both front and rear. My car does not have any placeholder in the front for a plate, so I'm gonna have to drill holes in the pretty front spoiler? Are there alternatives? Is this front requirement true?

Yes it is :(. As your car doesn't have a fixing plate, you might be able to get away with putting a sticker on instead.

How many cars have you seen over here without a front plate !

Most plates these days are held on with sticky pads - and sometimes they fall off......

The law changed a couple of years ago you must have a reflective front/rear number plate these days. You can't use the stick on 'sticker' type any more.
Sticking the plate on with sticky pads is the way to go as SteveF has said.

I had a sticky one on the front of my 355 after I lost the original on an F Chat drive about. Pasted its MOT and never had a problem with the old bill either.

Didn't have a front one on my old Elise either - just kept it in the boot - got pulled once in 2 years to get it sorted (it is a good excuse for the Old Bill to crawl all over your though)
