    Hi,

Any thoughts on how many miles the 348/T engine is good for? If it was properly serviced, and if it was not properly serviced? Before one probably has to rebuild the top end, or the entire thing.

    Thanks,

We have several 100k plus mile owners.

    A friend of mine has a 270k mile 328.

I think it's tied as much to how it's driven. I would say if used for commuting close to 200K. If used to race from a cold start the bottom end of mileage could be very low.

Depends on whether it was used or abused.

I believe rifledriver stated on here (don't remember the thread) that the 4 valve 80s Ferrari engines are quite resistant and bulletproof or something to that effect.

I know that the stock f119 crank can handle 10,500+/rpm. Keep in mind everything else internally was upgraded to handle the engine spinning that high. But, the crank was still stock.

F119 = one tough little engine

Great! As long as they are used (not abused) and maintained, the engines will last a long time.

I was attracted to the Mondial T because of the comments of Rifledriver concerning the engine quality.
