    ...would be a lot less frustrating without these infernal things everywhere...and they all have the required "mountain adventure" cargo box on top. Getting stuck behind one of these stupid cars coming out of the canyon is guaranteed to be the most frustrating 20 minutes of my day.

    Unless someone here owns one of these things. In that case forget everything I just wrote. Wow...you must go on so many adventures. :D

    If I have to read another bumper sticker I think I am going to go postal, every car in Colorado has to have at least three bumper stickers complaining about something :)

    Or the retiree who is in NO hurry to get anywhere. That seems to be the majority of who live up the canyon and drive these things. Actually, I'm kind of envious. I wish I was a retiree with no place to be and no hurry to get there.

    You should have been here in the 80s when most cars were so underpowered that the combination of steep grades and high altitudes made getting around painfully slow. Remember that you are in Boulder County where most people believe that by making you go slow, they are saving children and the planet.

    subaru is my dream car! i want an STi or a 98-01 2.5rs. my true dream cars out of everything else! but i still love fcars and other exotics, i just like to take pictures of them, and see them.

    You don't know much about Boulder cops. I don't think these people have too many friends of the tree hugger persuasion. :D

    Boulder police officer Sam Carter is suspended and under investigation in connection with Tuesday's shooting of an elk.

    Boulder police officer Brent Curnow is on suspension and under investigation in connection with Tuesday's fatal shooting of an elk.

    Former Boulder police officer Eric Shunglik Lee resigned following a 2011 federal firearms charge.

    Former Boulder police officer Christian McCracken faces trial for attempted murder.

    Boulder police officer Scott Morris is on administrative leave following a DUI charge.

    They're pratical and are probably one of the most sensible cars to buy in Colorado...just like a mini-van in the rest of US suburbia. And just like a mini-van, my wife said she will divorce me if I ever buy her a Subaru. ;)

    That's funny....one of my guys was just complaining about having to detail another Subaru. Most of them look like they have been living in them and usually have dog hair everywhere.

    After her first tough winter, she may be begging for one. We have had two, an outback and a STI. We enjoyed both. Right now, nothing in the Subaru line fills our needs, but if that changes, we'd buy another in a heartbeat. Many years ago, Subaru execs came to Colorado to find out why half their US sales were here. It was said you knew you had moved to CO when you traded your Mercedes for two Subarus. They are more popular everywhere now but I would wager Colorado still has more per capita than anywhere else.
