Late investment club meeting at friends home. Only half mile from my home but an excuse to park the car without worry about getting keyed. Friends already there do the standard homage walkaround, expressing appreciation of timeless Italian design with standard 'what year' question.

Meeting ends late, say goodbyes, leave with empty potato salad dish, press fob 'unlock'. The door locks pop up, parking lights first blink and come on with dome light lighting for 30 seconds of easy entry. Again, car starts instantly, headlights flood the street (first time used since I added the relay voltage fix)) with surprising brightness. Car windows retreat quickly taking advantage of the evening breeze. Transmission goes into second like butter. Kids setting on kerb yell "burn it out", I smile and slide into 3rd. Can't believe how well the streets are illuminated even low beams and notice the car doesn't miss a beat. My house approaches all too quickly.

so many posts "my car is broke" must be countered with "my car works great"

Got home from sea at 11pm.... said... "ahhhh...let's go see the car..." (it had been 7 weeks) and took off the cover... heavy sigh.... well... why not... connected the battery, took the extra air out of the tires, fired it up first time, and off I went.... after a 7 hour drive home from Charleston, l was amped and a jaunt on the 528 / 95 cloverleaf and out to Cape Canaveral was what I needed to unwind....
Always great to know it is back home in the garage waiting for the next drive...

    so it goes without saying...

    Paul,

That's nice.....when everything works right and it's a nice evening and you have a nice drive ahead of you....renews your believe in why you bought a ferrari in the first place!

I've had a few fun moments too....favorite is loading the wife and kids in the back of the mondial 3.2 cab on a warm summer evening with the top down and heading over to the local Italian restaurant...
