Can someone tell me if the output shaft on the lifting motor for the headlamps is either splined or is it keyed? Looking at the angle of the arm one side appears to be about 10 degree different in angle than the other. Nothing is bent in the linkage, but one side blinks and when I try to adjust it out there is just to much misalignment with the fender. I was thinking if the arm and output shaft was splined, then I could remove it and adjust the angular difference.

    It is knurled and tapered.

Thanks, then it can be set to a small angular difference.
