    problem , just did my brakes about two weeks ago driving and the yellow light just above the center of the steering wheel comes on no problem with braking , brake fuild is topped off . shut the car off light out start and drive the car no light until the brake is pushed a few times as i drive the car. what would bring this light on and why please i don't feel any problem with braking . like to hear from you guys please 87 testarossa us . thank you jim

    ....the only yellow light above the steering wheel is the fuel reserve light and the rear window defog light.

    ....are you sure you aren't out of fuel or the defog light is on? :D

    Seriously, are you sure it's not the red "brake" light indicator in the center of the cluster just above the gauges?

    Since you just did the brakes, did you knock one of the contacts from the fluid sensor on the master cylinder. Pull both connectors, clean and reseat. You may just have some corrosion on the contacts.

    If both contacts are clean, in pos II, if you push the little button on the master cylinder, the cluster brake sensor light should come on....this tells you that you have enough fluid.

    The sensor itself may be stuck when the fluid level was dropped. Perhaps tap the master cylinder reservoir and the sensor may reset.

    Let us know beyond that....
