Hi, I have three light scratches in the side window glass of my F355 caused I assum by something traped between the door rubber and the glass . Has anyone had the same problem and is there any way of removing the scratches ?

Glass polishing kit = tooth paste and paper towels, a dab of water helps lubricate the toothpaste a bit. I have polished scuffs out of windows, mirrors, plexiglass, lexan and other materials using simple tooth paste, but you can buy a $50.00 glass polishing kit that will have non-mint smelling toothpaste in it if you prefer.
Oops wrong button to post. Here I try again. I've used a glass polishing kit before. I think the stuff is zirconium oxide; same stuff they use to final polish telescope mirrors. In any case, if you can catch the glass scratch with your finger nail then such polishing compound will not work. They are really only good for removing haze caused by wipers. As an aside, I have tried to use coarser grit glass polishing compound to polish out scratch on my watch glass, then progressively moving to finer grit, but it was very difficult and the result was not great. You actually polish glass against another piece of sacrificial glass. Very interesting technical read if you Google telescope mirror polishing.
I have the Eastwoods powder, and it DOES work. Follow the directions and it's amazing. It's not cheap, like $30 for more than you'll use in a lifetime. Ken
Have tried tooth paste with no sucsses the scratch is deep enough to catch with my finger nail so I dont think it can be removed .
Yawn, so now contact eastwood. In the kit you will get a polishing tip thats fits in ya drill Alot more effective than a damp cloth and and a tooth brush me thinks
