I bought my 348 spider in May of last year. She was in seriously shabby shape. Major was done within the last year and records were in tow, seems owners did maintenance, however, interior and exterior were for lack of a better word...disastrous. So, over the last year I have been trying to resurrect this poor damsel in distress. It has a *little* bling to it.....yeah, I concede, however, it is the way I like it. I have other cars for performance, this is my part-time daily driver and wife and I's date night car.

Interior: Biggest change.. 3 tone. Black upper, Tan mid, Beige lower (still need the carpet and lower door threshold redone). Seats recovered in beige, lower door panels in beige leather, and mats and boot cover in beige. Carbon fiber console and gauge cluster. Momo wheel with CF bezel. Trim rings on gauges, alu stalk and lock ends. Door handles in polished alu. Silver CF door sills, Hill pedals, chrome knob.

Exterior: My custom rear conversion, chrome (yes....) wheels, Polished alu exhaust from HPC coatings, Yoshi shields, lenses fixed on fogs and coated with 3M.

I think I will let her be.....for a little while anyways.

For info on the rear end conversion and how to connect 348 wiring to 355 lights without splicing or needing any kind of "converter" see my last thread here: http://www.ferrarichat.com/forum/showthread.php?t=195935

    Nice job looks awesome mate

Love those rims they are VEEEEEEEEEEEERRRRRRRRRRRRRYYYYYYYYYYY NNNNNNNNNNNIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIICE as Borat would say.

What speakers are you running in your doors are those 6" subs or mids?

And that grill on the back looks great too, it brings together the 348 and 355 transition elegantly.

Thanks for the kind words....My local audio guys picked those speakers out. I believe the larger ones are 6" two-ways by Infinity. The other ones are 4". They sound GREAT.

I love the rims! I'm not usually a fan of chrome or high polished rims on ferraris but those look great. Roberto a.k.a. nightlife has chrome on his 348 and it looks awesome. I guess it really comes down to the style of the wheel weather or not chrome works for it. In the two above stated cases I say Hell Yeah!!:D
The whole car looks great and you should be very proud of it.:)

Yes, these are the highlines from ebay! Other than the fact that they sent the wrong bolt pattern for the rears and I had to send back....total was 8 weeks from order to install......Other than that, I have been VERY pleased with the wheels. Interestingly enough, even though the wheels are much larger than stock and chrome plated, they only weigh 2 pounds more than the stock boat anchors.....tires are very nice too, ordered in a package.

Thanks for all the great comments guys. Potxoli, I just PM'ed you with the VIN. Thanks for registering the car.

Thanks Copter, yes, chrome only works on some motifs. Track motif + Chrome= no no. Chrome+cruiser= sure, in my book.

Yeah, I can see the similarity to the pic of the 512M below.

Thank you. No, they are 348 seats.... as far as I know.

I think this is the best conversion for rear lights I have seen. A very good blend of old with new.

Agreed on the rear lights on that car. It gives the best of both worlds IMO. The classic round lights with the classic 348 Grill. Better than the 512 i think.Perfect:)

forgive the ignorance, but what's with the two tones of beige? seats don't appear to match the panels... is this true with all 348s?
    just wonderin'

In the initial post, I said that I had gone 3 tone with the interior. I still have to do the carpet and lower door threshold in the biege. Black upper, tan midsection, beige lower. Seats, rugs, lower door, boot cover are all in beige.
