Yes I have been to Lima. Tips on do's don'ts? Dont wear an expensive watch while walking in the city or someone will tear it off your wrist and disappear before you turn around and when you do turn around the biggest Peruvian you will ever see will be standing there blocking your attempt at pursuit.:( Also beware of the kind people who will help wipe the mustard that mysteriously got on you and whisk any bag you are carrying away before you notice. I would stay away from dairy products even in expensive reataurants unless puking your guts out next moring is something you enjoy. Hotels are nice but bed and breakfast in nice safe part of city is better. Best thing about Lima is leaving for Cuzco or arequipa.

I live in Lima Peru, I don't know to which part of the city have you been WJW300TT but overall Lima is safe, at least not as dangerous as a couple of years ago. You can't wear a gold Rolex outside the airport or at certain areas...

Miraflores, San Isidro, La Molina, La Planicie are the best districts, and they are at the most 15 miles from each other. The tourists sites (museums, churches, etc) are down town, in which you have to be a bit carefull.

I can recomend you good restaurants, hotels, things to do, etc but I'll need to know some things like when are you coming, with your family or friends?, for how long are you staying, etc.

The food is EXCELLENT, and cheap, moving around is cheap (compared to the US).

Ferrari related activities we have none. In Lima we have 5 F355, 1 360 spyder, 2 599, 1 308, 3 F430, 1 612, 1 550 and 1 575. Cars are very expensive, a F430 costs 320k, a 911 Carrera S is 113k, a E350 is 82k for example. Once in a while with a couple of friends we get together and go to the new race track "La Chutana", rent it between 10-12 guys and have a blast. Maybe you are in Lima one of this days, and you are more than welcome to come. Just let me know!

    Good luck.
