    hey everyone, im planning on going to lime rock this year in july for the ferrari challenge race weekend. unfortuately i have another commitment for that weekend...but im trying to squeeze both the lime rock event and this other thing in on the same weekend. now, i understand that the lime rock event starts on july 8 (?) until the 10 or so (?).

    but anyway, ill only be able to go for one day, and it'll be better for me to go closer to the 8th. so in the opinion of those who have attended this event before, which day would be the best to go as a spectator? thanks you

    Saturday is race day. Nice crowd on that day and lots of good racing.

    Stop by and say hi if your there. I will be racing an impossible to miss blue and yellow 250 GTO as long as I can finish rebuilding the steering box before the race starts.

    Saturday is by far the best day for race-day action. They run the competitive Challenge and Historic events on this day and I believe they also run sessions for pre-registered Ferrari street cars.

    If I can get my shocks changed by then I will be coming up from Long Island on Saturday. If a bunch of us want to gather for a run up to Lime Rock, we should plan to leave real early in the am. It would be cool to link up with the contingents from NJ and from other areas like Southern CT and Westchester Rockland, Orange counties.
