Lime Rock July 9-10 less than a month away. Our plans?

I am wondering the same thing. I havent heard very much from anyone and was wondering who wants to caravan up to Lime Rock form the NJ area. Anyone?

 

Count me in.

Also, is this a day trip or overnight trip? If the latter, is there a hotel where everyone plan to stay at?

 

I was talking to Werner at Millers & he said he will have the entry forms out this week

Seems like most of the 'enzo who?' crowd is going to be racing/showing their cars at this event so we've decided to cancel it, look for another even in a few months .

 

Should be just be a day trip. From where i am at in central Jersey Lime rock is about 3.5 hours away. Where would you like to meet up if your interested?

Both my mother and father live in that area, so will be going. In fact, my mother's house is in Sharon, CT. You have to drive right past it to get to the track.

I phoned Lime rock today & was told they have no plans or present provisions for a Ferrari car parking corral such as last year. The woman with whom I spoke said that no one has contacted them & she doesn't believe there will be such provisions this year. This is very diappointing as I am relauctant to park my car in the filed with all the other non-F cars. What's everyone's take on this situation? Will there in fact be a Ferrari parking area? Also, unless you're racing or have paid the $595 fee, FMNA does not appear interested in extending any courtesies to owners. Any thoughts on this matter? I go to Lime Rock 2 - 3 times a season as I live not too far from it & regularly take my Ferrari. I'd hate to go the Challenge races & not drive it there. If the information I've obtained is not correct, I'd appreciate any updates. Thanks.

 

Classic Coash is sponsoring the DE prior to the Challenge race. Tell them you want to come down and ask if they can give you in-field passes to park during the challenge race.

 

I am going as a day trip on Saturday. I would love to drive up with any of you who are going it as a one day affair. Don't know much else after asking people at dealerships, FNA, FCA and FOC, but no one seems to be giving any concessions or special treatment to people who are not attending all of the days of the event and/or pay the $600.

Any of you want to get together to drive up? Its a 2.5 hour drive from NYC (went up for a Skip Barber lesson in May).
