Everyone please check this link out. There is a small explanation and a link with pictures at the bottom of the page. This is NOT the final product.....a lot of changes are still being made. What does everyone think about this?

Doesn't seem like much of a big deal - seems like the track is in off-season mode. Nothing that can't be remedied for spring racing.

A bunch of guys over on a Porsche forum are upset with Limerock because they are charging even more this year and they still wont pave their track. On the downhill there is a pretty dangerous bump that should be repaired. Anyways the fences they put up completely block the corner workers. Now its even harder for drivers to see the flags. I figured I would post this for anyone who tracks their car at LRP. I go to LRP quite often and I hope to see a huge improvement by the time Spring starts. I also hope to see a better fence for photographers!

Thanks very much for posting this! I go to Lime Rock quite often, as a spectator, and usually take a lot of pictures. I'm curious to see how the final product will look, especially how it will affect non-credentialed photographers like myself.

I can see from one photo that part of the back stretch has high chain link fencing installed along drivers-left, which is obviously important for driver and track worker safety, but not necessarily good for photography...we'll see.

    Joe,

I'm also a non-credentialed photographer (can't even try to get credentials because of my age) If you look at some pictures you can see the fence in big bend has been replaced and it looks like it doesn't have barbwire. I hope they do that all the way around the track because I hate shooting in between the barbwire.

If you do a lot of track events you know about their "legendary" re-surfacing fee surcharges. It's just a mater of "what" they've been re-surfacing because it's not the track. It would be nice if they added a paved paddock and some amenities. Their facilities are very sub-standard.

I also wonder if in some turns they're making some course changes?

Can we use all those tires as spares?

It looks like they are adding a lot of new fencing. This might detract from the viewing opportunities. The good news is the track will still be there for us to enjoy events at.
