The 335S in the photo was his favorite Ferrari of all time, you know...in the book he said it's the one he'd buy "with his own money"......

I'd go with the larger 412MI but no matter, ....a small quibble.

    Rest in Peace, Phil......

    Hi,

It is very sad for me to realize Phil is no longer with us. Our friendship started in 1956 at the Beverly, MA 4th of July races. Over the years we’ve shared many wonderful moments.

Phil and I were both a Lime Rock a bunch of years ago--in the late 80s--and he signed the prints before he did his "dog & pony".

    Ciao,

    Tom Burnside

    Wow.......welcome to you, Mr. Burnside.

Condolences on your loss...there were threads here when he passed...but it is always difficult to express the feelings.

Thanks for joining us here, and for all your own excellent efforts thru the years...
