As some of you may or may not know, I've been working the better part of this past year to open up a full-service dog care facility just north of Wrigley. We opened our doors for retail about 10 days ago, and we're planning for daycare and boarding to start in early January. Response in the neighborhood has been tremendous, and although we planned on waiting a few more weeks, my wife and I decided that, because we've had several friends ask, we're going to accept a handful of dogs for boarding the week between Christmas and New Year's. Besides providing the service, it will allow us and our staff an opportunity to ease into the operation of things. If any FChatters are interested, email me for details. We're capping occupancy at 10 dogs (not including our own), but our full capacity will be 50.

    Thanks Frank,

It's been a lot of work, but rewarding.

Also, I should make the point that my intention for this post wasn't as a freebie business solicitation. I was just trying help out any of you dog owners who may have found themselves in a pinch this holiday. Sorry if it came off the wrong way.

    Jack,

Congrats on the business venture. Hope it works out great. Anyone who has two goldies, has got to love dogs.

FYI. Had the 328 out today for about an hour. It ran great and is always a great ride.

    Cheers,

    John

That's really great to hear! It served me well, and it's nice to know it's in loving hands. I'm sure you're developing a new appreciation for mild winters!

No, you did not come of the wrong way by all means! I just meant that you are in a great location, with alot of Dog Owners there. And, alot of "Professional" types who probably Travel alot and need a service such as yours. Let alone Holiday Travelers. I think it is a fantastic idea! And again....Good Luck! And much success!

Actually, funny thing is...we were having a hard time just finding someone (responsible....other than her friends...) to take care of my daughters Guinea Pig while we are in Arizona for a couple of weeks...Finally talked my ex (her mom) into doing it....
