This is pretty funny, I'll start at #5 and then every once in awhile post the next one. I guess you can make a game of it trying to guess the top 4 now.

Oh, geez... This is going to be ugly...

In my defense, i'd just like to say that the MAJORITY of pictures i've posted were Ferrari-related... So, at least in that respect, i'm not a post whore... :)

    LOL...!!!

Someone recently mentioned that users can check to see how many pictures they've posted... Just click on User Controls, then click on settings; this will take you to a new window; on the left, at the bottom of the control panel, is a link entitled 'Attachments'; users can use this feature to check the number and the megabyte amount of pictures they've posted... i've got ALMOST double what #s 5 & 4 have, as per Rob's postings but i doubt i'll be at the top of the list...

It uses a LOT less space if you post the photos to yahoo or similar, than just insert the link to the photo....

Hay Rob have you ever considered setting up Photopost, you can completely integrate it into vBulletin…

People can link there pictures in there post, plus you can set a size cap for the members space. So in the long run you would use less server space, plus make it easier for your members to post pictures. Think of it this way, right now members can attach any number of pictures that can total in massive amounts of disk space in the end. But if you set up Photopost and gave every member a set amount of space, saving space in the end…

LOL, you're not kidding...! The FFQC pictures thread i did last year was a pain in the ass - especially since i could only post one picture at a time...

i still have a bunch of pictures from a recent car show, Italian Car Day, Petit LeMans and Monterey - i have over a thousand Monterey pictures alone...!

I've thought about vB add ons to make the management and posting of photos easier. Space isn't an issue though and we limit Non Subscribed users to only 5mb of images.

The reason we don't allow img tags is because we don't want to loose the display of images. I can guarantee that all images uploaded to our server will be around as a historical archive. If hosted in all other locations, then eventually most of these would be lost.

Yeah we limit the space to 10 megs to non subscribed members and paid members get I think 50 megs…

Anyway I like your thinking on the historical archive, so I scanned threw the Photopost features and found the following…

Bulk Move. The ability to move all of the images from one group to another.

So it would be logical to think that once a week or so you could copy the members pictures threw bulk move and move them to a dedicated F-chat historical category in Photopost. I don’t have access to the admin panel for Photopost on our forum, so I don’t know if it would be that easy or not.
