I'm reviewing Ferrari ads on EBay, as I am getting ready to do the same with my '92 ts. I plan to have a LOT of pictures and go over all the details of the car.

What are the top 5 or 6 items that are a 'must list' when drafting the ad? Is TOO MUCH detail overkill for a potential sale? I've never listed a car on EBay before and I want to do it right the first time.

    Thanks in advance!

Direct Deposit Only. To many con artists out there. I would rather have the money then be a statistic wishing otherwise.

    Hey, peters -

I talked to a lady yesterday who had eight screws put into her foot after a slip and fall (at WalMart 18 months ago)- it was 6 months before she could use a clutch.

Can you hold off until 6 months has passed to see if you'll be able to do the same?

Her lawyer probably told her to do that! My injury was about as bad as you could get and and I was on crutches when I left the hospital.

Your xray is upside down, but it looks like your surgeon did a good job!

As far as your listing, a good friend of mine sells a lot of used exotics on ebay. He requires an immediate deposit of $500 (pay pal, etc) from the winner. Otherwise, he told me there are a lot of people who will hit buy it now with no intention of buying the car. If they dont pay, then the auction will not end and you dont have to pay to relist it.

    Many large & Clear pictures.

Well written description concerning not only the condition of your car, but adding good information on the 348 in general and the benefits to having a 1992 over earlier cars.

Include all the service history, and maybe a picture of the records to show there is proof of service.

Name, Email, and Phone number in the ad.

Guarantee the car, tell people if it isn't just as you say in your description, they can walk away from the sale.

Make sure you plan the time the auction closes to be easily accessible to a majority of people!

You might try and list it on Yahoo Auto as well.
Great format, good pictures, and all the cars are for sale not an auction.
Always a good variety and you can see and compare market values.
    Good luck!
