    I received this email from the LA FCA. Anyone else entering their cars or going? I'm putting the 328, 360 and the British car in there. Spoke at length with the guy organizing it and it sounds like a lot of fun.

    I'm working nights that weekend so I won't stay the entire time but was planning on bring the BB.

    Cancer research is a good cause.

    You won't be the only FCA person out there- others are planning on going.

    I am planning on going if I can get my schedule finalized tomorrow. It looks like we will have a good turnout from the local FCA Chapter

    Does anyone know Dan Heard? (sp?) If you do, try and get him to bring all those cars HE has out to this. I know my kids would like nothing more than to see his Enzo and F40.

    I'll definitely go if he brings those. I'd walk to Baton Rouge to see the Enzo.

    Sorry- don't think that is happening.

    But there will still be other nice cars and people out there. & the money goes for a good cause.

    Like you said, it's for a great cause and his cars, if publicized, would be a major draw. I sent my money in last night. Now I just have to get around to figuring out how to get the cars there.

    I saw a billboard for the show on Bluebonnet today and was hoping some of you folks would make it. I'll take a break from studying to check it out.

    DMaury, are you related to the Drs. Drummond from Shreveport?

    Edit: Yikes, $40 to get in? I'm gonna have to wait until next year, after graduation.

    Nope, no relations that I know of. My Dad (H. Maury, I'm D. Maury) is Director of the USS Kidd in Baton Rouge. I'm the only doc. :)

    I'm still laughing about that... "What’s that smell? Is it the clutch?" ;) For those that have driven early 360's, she got caught up with the twitchy accelerometer in first gear where it can really start bucking. All joking aside, you drive really well. :)

    How about posting up that pic of you making the silly face. I was wondering how it came out as I only saw it on the tiny LCD screen.

    Didn't realize this was so soon. I have surgery on the eighth, I wonder if my oral surgeon will be mad if I move the date back so I can go to this.

    Yeah, I can post the pics. What's funny is the one I felt I was making the silliest face came out the best. That's how it usually is though. If I try to take a "normal" picture I look dorky and if I act dorky I look normal. Go figure. I'm out of town so I'll post them when I get back.

    It looks like a nice event although a little pricey especially for a spectator. Unfortunately I will be out of town anyway.

    My Carnival cruise to Cozumel was just cancelled due to swine flu so maybe I will go to this show.

    Looks like the weather should be hot but no rain. A large and interesting group of cars entered now. This should be fun!
