I recently purchased an Atelier Verde Masoni F8 Spider and could use some advice on the factory livery. Livery is all black and I feel it could use a bit of color to break it up. I have reservations on making changes to an Atelier car and a factory livery, but I’m having a hard time getting away from the idea. I had a friend do some mock ups cutting it with Ferrari yellow and grey to tie in the wheels. Would love some feedback from the community.

Beautiful color. I'm not sure I'd do anything to it, but if I were to choose, it would be either the one wide stripe of yellow or gray (the last two exterior pics). If I had been the one to spec it, I would have gone for brown leather and brown alcantara on seats and doors in contrasting brown with that color exterior.

Do it good quality vinyl and it will be easily reversible. Were you thinking of painting it?

I agree with @plastique999, add the gold and maybe consider powder coating the wheels in a light gold to match. I think that would play off well with the green.

For me yellow does not fit with the original classy and understated characteristics - some may love the contrast though.

No on yellow. Your bakes and interior do not have yellow outside the shields and steering wheel. With your cars body color...gold is about as yellow as I'd get but you'll need something like gold wheels to tie in a black and gold strip. You'll need to carefully pick the shade of gold so it is not a yellow gold...I am thinking a lighter misty looking gold.

I feel with your retro style color that a retro style black racing strip would look best and add some sportiness to a luxury color. Or.... a retro black racing strip with the color of the seat stripe centered to tie it all in.

appreciate everyone’s feedback. Really helpful. Shape of the livery makes it a big challenging. Isn’t like the pista livery. It’s more tear drop.

Were you thinking a matte black to offset the gloss?

also I love gold wheels with a green car but it never looks right to me on a Ferrari for some reason. I had a black olive GT3 with aerodyne wheels and it’s one of my fav specs ever but not sure it would work here.

For me...if your black bits on your F8 are gloss I'd go gloss stripe or if they are factory matte black go matte strip. In other words keep things tied in and not too busy to detract from the exotic lines of the F8 body.

I am deciding on either keeping my black front aero bits gloss black....the original cars owner PPF'd the car and the front grill matte black parts were done in gloss black but the little side aero bits behind the front wheels and under the doors are still matte black. The drives me nuts but simple fix. LOL. I think for my red car that gloss black detail aero bits would possible look best to me and get a 2nd set of gloss black wheels. The mirror trim and top of the headlights are gloss black from the factory....so for me I will tie it all together and have all the matte black parts covered with gloss black ppf.

My GT3 and come to think of it, my Cayanne GT has aerodyne wheels as well. Not quite sure why green/gold always looks off on Ferraris to my eye.

it’s a good call on the yellow given the calipers. I hadn’t thought of that. Looks like I have a lot more work to do here. The solid black is driving me nuts. I’ll figure it out. Open to any suggestions and thanks again for everyone’s opinion.

I love the way it is. The color is enough and the added stripes look confusing and distracting to me. I think its a very tasteful car. congrats.
