Hi, this is for anyone living in the monaco-nice area. I am looking to move there in a year or so and I want some small information and opinions.
I'd like to know how it is there to own an exotic car, is there a lot of events? meets? Is there a lot of forums for discussion with other people in the area?
How is the temperature and weather year long?
What are the good and the bad of living in that area?

Thank You to anyone who answers.

Monaco and Cannes (60 kms by highways) are the best aera for to see the exotic cars !

Temperature very good, summer : 28° Celcius and Winter : minimum 15° celcius.

Very good place but too much expensive to live there. :)

That's soo true, when I was on holiday there this summer, I looked at some of the advertisements of real-estate companies, and for what you pay there to rent a medium sized appartment over there, you can rent a BIG huose over here.
    But still...one day...:)

BTW: do the jobs pay accordingly over there, or is it still VERY expensive to live there for people who work there?

it's hard to pay or rent an appartment or a house there, even if you work.

But first at all, it's hard just to find a rent !! lol...

peoples which live in Monaco are Monegasques (nationality) or are people who have money and do not want to pay taxes in their country. All people, but no French people !
For me, it's better to live in France ! I'm french !

I have been in monaco 3 times now... Each time was like a new car show... When the new style SL first came to sell back in what? 2001? Well, I had already seen 10 of them in monte carlo itself, and in miami, none yet... Even in Lisboa, i had seen a few, but perhaps european car market is different.

Algarve, in Agosto is similar to Monaco overall if one regards cars.
