It feels wierd. Even though i've only been here a year, i have some good memories in this room. I'm getting kinda nostalgic now. Lol I've also met 2 good friends who live in the building next to me here and its gonna be wierd not being able to just walk over to their place and chill. I'm looking forward to having my own place though
All moved in. Don't start me on the moving company. I was meant to move out friday at noon. We had moving people move my stuff because i was worried my tv would break so i we got the movers to move it so i'd be insured. The movers were meant to come at 12 (midday). Still hadn't showed by 3 and no word why. Finally we get a call saying the truck has broken down and could we do it tomorrow (saturday). My dad was livid because they hadn't called and he had taken off work to move me in so they said they'd be there at 7. Well, the ended up coming around 6 that night and when they bring the contract, the price was wrong ($150ish higher than agreed). More drama and yelling while dad and mum try to talk to the lady at the office about how much they agreed to. Finally, a new price is agreed. Oh yea, they only take cash. Guess when we found out? Such a sham. Anyway, i'm 90% moved in. Only have a few things left at my other place (microwave, stuff in the fridge etc). No internet or tv till tuesday though (i'm at home right now) Anyway, i'm happy and love it
Sorry to hear that Chris. That's why I really don't trust moving companies. I actually get some enjoyment helping people move and have helped out between myself and other at least 6 times in the last 3 years.
Not gonna lie, its pretty wierd living on my own. Its only my 2nd day there so I'm sure it'll pass. Its kinda lonely but that's probably because I have no internet or tv right now. Lol. Like I said, I'm kinda bummed I can't just walk over to my friends place anymore but they are only a 2 minute drive away.
Now i just need to rent a U Haul to get my new sofa thats sitting in my garage in PA to my apartment here in the dirty jerz
Sorry for the bump, but I did a little snooping/creeping on facebook. Kid needs to set his profile to private Apparently we made his life hell, he didn't approach us to even talk about anything wrong. His status updates from facebook: ____________: has a much nicer and cleaner everything since moving out. In an odd way, I couldn't have gotten a much bigger room that will be all to myself for the same amount of rent without the help of my horrible roommate. That's karma for you! ____________: had not realized he got athletes foot from living with his old-roomate. That's unfortunate, especially since it's been there for a month, but c'est la vie - it will hopefully go away soon. WEAR YOUR SOCKS IN PUBLIC SPACES!!! SHOES ARE A GOOD IDEA WHEN AVAILABLE!!! ____________: just got the electricity bill, and his share is 1/3 the shared and total cost of what it used to be in hell. There's karma for you - now pay it forward people! Hmmm. No one has or has had athletes foot
He ****ing moved in across the parking lot from me. All the **** he said about my apartment complex and how amazing his new place was.....it fell through and he's now living in the building opposite me. I can't get away from this kid. At least i have my own place now
Congrats on moving! I think you should get revenge on your ex-roommate now that you don't live with him anymore, you shouldn't have had to put up with the **** he gave you. Go put a nail under each of his car's tyres or something.
Not worried about it. He's never stepping in my place again unless its to give me my half of the security deposit on the old place. After that, seeya
How about taping his door shut. Just get some heavy duty clear tape, and go over the outside of his door, if his door opens inside, then he might get stuck against the tape if he's an idiot and doesn't look
