Appropriated to this thread, some pics of my exLM002 Paris Dakar… I sold it to French dealer Autodrome, who has sold it in USA in north California, may be San Francisco... does somebody know where it is by now ?

30th built

 

This car was on ebay last month, I clicked buy it now but never could arrange proper payment. Very hard to do business in Russia, much less Siberia where the car was located. Apparently someone from Philadelphia bought it. It has 50k km and interior was redone in alcantera. It is a 92 fuel injected. I hope the new buyer enjoys it, as it is a steal at 135k.

I just saw an ad for it. As I recall it was restored to race config and is in Germany? Do a google search for LMs for sale and it will come up.

 

It was a steal. Cannot find the listing. You didn't happen to get a VIN did you? Ad shows it as a 90. There a reason you thought 92?

Interesting. 12250 and 12252 were both built in January 91 and the latest confirmed production date I have is for 12280 built in July 91.
12227 was October 90 production.

Thanks for that picture too. Do not get a picture of the US ID plate often.

By US law with the L in the VIN it is still a 90. But that is not observed by many countries.
Every full VIN I have MY 90 is the latest model year I have seen no matter the production date.

Genuine condition with probably the lowest original mileage recorded for a LM002 : 2.258 km...
