We are starting our own registry for the one and only LM! Owners chime in with key stats: Year Production Date VIN Variant (i.e. American) Carb or FI (will help in identifying interim trucks) Color exterior / interior Mileage Rough Location Interesting notes or history Post or PM me for my contact info to get pics in the registry as well. Non owners - if you know someone who has one, PM me and we'll get it sorted out.

My LM002 1991 Prod Date: 1-1991 Vin: LA12250 American LM002A Pearl White/ White Hides 20,002 KM Located USA Last LM002 motor from factory installed due to blown rod on original. Original motor parked next to truck. Full mechanical and Exterior restoration completed 2004ish. Roof covered with headliner material to protect from the common issues with dissimilar metals. I did this on my other LM previously owned as well 12263. Truck originally owned by a famous NY Giants football player. LM's are the answer to the worlds most ridiculous questions. They are clunky yet smooth, fast yet slow, heavy yet light. They are their own paradox. Long live the LM!
I have 2 LM00'2 one Carburettor and the other one Fuel Injected. Will keep you posted once I get back from vacation.

Would be interesting to see this car, my dream spec on these exotics are white interiors. Can you tell me more of the roof headliner trim ? What common issues ?
Mine was produced October 1989, and is one of the pre-America units without skirts. I had to get a dating certificate from Lamborghini to license the vehicle earlier this year, it took them three months to issue and GBP540.00!!!! my Ferrari 512bb certificate took two days and cost GBP60.00, the Lambo factory needs to wake up and understand the importance of Heritage.
Thats quiet a lot of money, its a special truck nothing the less. Mine is pre Skirts as well and is a American Model "EFI" I am currently in vacation( taking a family member for treatment in Europe) and don't have the serial numbers on hand. Once I get back around September I will gladly send them to the Registry. Its about time people paid attention to this car and started a registry like the Countach's and Miura.
I wish Lamborghini would look back to its classic models and make a specified wing in their headquarters for such cars. Look at Ferrari with Classiche, Mercedes Benz with MB Classic Centre, Aston Martin with AM WORKS and Porsche with Porsche Classic. There should be something done by Lamborghini to keep these cars back on the road and running plus in house restoration and maintenance.
I remember sometimes ago, Lamborghini started something like that with the "Registro Lamborghini", but I don't think it still works. My Espada has got all the related paperwork and a small metal plate indicating it went through the process. I will post it when I can make some pictures. They really should start it again.
OK, I'm already up to really good information on 11 trucks, with another 13 in with basic information. I have emails or PMs out to some people. Thanks guys!
Great idea to create a registry for the LM002 ! Here's a "group picture" for the LM002's I've in my records. Not all pictures are mine therefore I'm not allowed to post them all in high resolution. Please PM if you want some pictures. Image Unavailable, Please Login
