Non-filter clove cigarette. The strongest nicotine and tar in the country.
IMHO this is the art of smoking.

We need to get the wiring done so we can test the ECUs out, if they're duds that will be another 4 to 6 weeks to engineer a solution

The J20's are great!!! I have a 1973 Wagoneer, so I love all of the old full size Jeeps (FSJ).

    LM looking really nice.

    Hi Nick,

It took us almost TWO DAYS to find it :)
It is hidden on the left side of the engine block facing upward, hidden near the firewall.
We had to TAKE THE ENGINE OUT to be able to find it :p
    Not a fun procedure.

Everything that is written on the owner's manual is totally wrong.

I hope this is just my case.
It is annoying that they stamp it on that area.

I cannot find any other stamping on the engine block

    Hi Taffy

That's great, the picture will help them locate it, they really do put them is stupid places, and can you imagine how you get to that when the engine is fitted in a Countach, the number will be right up against the bulkhead. Thanks for your help.

They have located the engine number, dead battery needs replacing, and then it is off to MOT, hopefully with no issues, I also imported a 512bb. that stared up & appears to be fine, it should be, the engine has just been overhauled by a company in Germany, now all I need is more garage space where I can work on them, like you, I always do my own work and it is driving me mad letting other people play with my toys (and paying them to do it).

    That's great.
Did they have to take off the intake plenum to rub the engine number?
I find it impossible to do it other than an engine out operation :(

Visual verification is good enough ? Lucky You.
Down here we need to rub in with 2B pencil on Department of Motor Vehicle paper. Now that needs an engine out :(

    PS:
Same thing happened on my 750iL V12 today... cannot find the engine number after 2.5 hours yet.
Next time I'd better buy a 4-cyl engine car :p
