Great Job!
Brake fluid reservoir cover after chrome process. Used to be silver, I guess chrome looks better. Cost : $13.50 Hmmmm... DOT-3 ? Why not DOT-4 or DOT-5 ? Perhaps they did not have that back in 1993 Image Unavailable, Please Login
Black wheels, black diff-lock, black wheels bolts, fresh set of tires. I think the 315 width tires looks puny and narrow compared to the original 345 Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Hi, great work, and God help you. Now I'm working with friends restoring the LM002. We have an electric fan, but really want to find a wiring diagram. Could you please share if you have them. I just left the garage. I don't remember if we have a wiring diagram. Will check with my mechanic tomorrow. Where are You located ? Your car looks good. Is it Fuel injection / carb ? I notice the car has newer generation Pirelli Scorpion (no sand lips)
I am from Moscow/Russia. It is Fuel injection and we made a lot of work with the roof (reinforced metal and reinforced the ship's entire body filler) we have to come up with new technologies for the restoration or replacement of the details that we can not find anywhere else I will show later on the list, maybe you can tell where you can get that spare parts... Please look for the wiring diagrams, I would be very grateful if you could share them .. Thank you!
Unfortunately we don't have the LM002 wiring diagram We are replacing every cables anyway, the we will write our own new wiring diagram. Parts are pretty easy to find in common websites such as LAMBORGHINI PARTS, SERVICE and RESTORATION, www.jegs.com. evans auto, cats exotics, Chad, Emilio, etc. Plenty of similar parts used in Alfa romeo, Triumph, Audi, Ducati, that I bought from E-bay. Feel free to ask me any parts that You need, I will point You to the place that I acquire them. I post pics and progress here so that everyone can contribute and learn the do's and dont's in restoring / repairing LMs. I will be interesting to see Your car's progress. Do share the pics in this forum please. Cheers, Taffy

Gonna replace this 2kg 7,250 rpm fan. (No fan clutch ! Fan tips travelling @573 km/h or mach .56 on full speed) Will fit BMW E34 M5 11-blade plastic fan (same diameter) with fan clutch that stops at 2,500 rpm. Huge weight difference and noise reduction. We decided not to go full electric fan. Image Unavailable, Please Login
Found some interesting problem here : http://www.ferrarichat.com/forum/lamborghinichat-com-sponsored-lamborghini-houston/422312-technical-qestion-help-intake-ports.html#post142581797
Old Exhaust system (from headers to end of muffler) : 55kg measured ANSA Sport SS Exhaust system : 37kg in two big delivery boxes. I guess it is 35 kg without the packaging cartons and bubble wraps. Savings: ca 20kg (44lbs) For a car that weights 3,000kg (6,600 lbs) the weight saving percentage is small though Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
