The Gulf color 430 only managed to qualify 14th for tomorrow's race. They had a time of 2:02.063. GT2 polesitter is the Virgo MS F430 with a time of 1:58.903. The GPC 430 of Mowlem/Dradi/Rosa qualified 5th at 1:59.563; the other GPC 430 was 7th.

No surprise is the #7 Peugeot of Gene/Minassian has the pole with a 1:41.867.

GT2 - CONGRATULATIONS TO RIK - Team Modena qualified 2nd with a time of 1:54.094 - Antonio Garcia/Christian Fittipaldi. (Hope the FXX meet in China is as profitable for you!) First was a Saleen with a 1:53.062.

50 cars are on the starting grid for tomorrow's race.

The ACO gives such an advantage to the turbodiesels...

Ron - just have to catch it on their live timing unless you can pick up Motors TV on the east coast.

Kyle - go to Petit LeMans in October - it's iffy but they could show up there as there's apparently monetary incentives for the LMS teams to come to the US prior to their final race at Sao Paulo. They (Peugeot) has said they'd like a re-match with Audi before Le Mans '08.

Peugeot #8 took the race win. In GT2, Virgo MS F430 took the class. Congratulations to Rik and Team Modena for their second place with the Aston in GT2.

    Where has Peugeot said that?

I hope to see the Charouz Lola B07/10 Judd at PLM.

I don't know if I'll have the funds or the time to go to Atlanta in October being in class. But thanks for the suggestion.

This is the 10th anniversary of the race and there's lots in the works for the weekend. Here's a link: http://roadatlanta.com/ev_petit.lasso

Pretty sure that the Corvettes will have some definite competition at this one.

Hope you can make your schedule work for this one.

Congrats to Robert Bell and honorary Australian Allan Simonsen for cleaning up GT2. This keep sthem well in the lead. It will be interesting to see if Allan does the Sliverstone round or the Sandown 500 in Australia with 888.
