    Hey guys,

Was wondering if any of you knew any body shops in the Central NJ area that can work on the aluminum frame of a Ferrari 360?

My regular body guy told me that to weld and work on aluminum requires a different machine and techniques which he was not capable of doing?

Bashed the nose on my 360 :(

Thanks for any help or suggestions

I don't know any in NJ but I would call Mid Island Collision on Long Island. They are certified by just about every major manufacturer including Porshe. They are very knowledgable in alum. body and frame and have top equipment and techs. 516 766 0101. Good Luck

+1 ...one of eight in the country. the other in the area is Algar Ferrari. Also, you could try Ultimate Collision that is where Ferrari central Jersey sends their work

    PS Classic is STUPID!!! expensive.

Classic Coach is expensive, and resign yourself to the fact that it will be there for quite a while -- they are extemely busy all the time and especially as spring draws closer. But their work is second to none. Quite simply, if they do the job, it will come back to you as good as it came from the factory, maybe better. If you are at all concerned about the value of your car, have it done right by a shop that knows what it is doing.

I don't know Algar, other than by reputation. They are well thought of also. They are near Philly, I believe. If you are in Central NJ, Algar might be closer to you.

no doubt they do good work but any of the 8 certified by Ferrari does superb work. There aree other non certified shop that do superb work.

no need to pay the "Ferrari tax" ...its only a car.

Unfortunately Classic will not use after-market or second-hand parts. Only parts from Ferrari directly. Which means $4200 for 1 headlight !!

These repairs will be performed out of pocket so I will have to go another route.

I looked at the thread regarding Karosserie Ltd. and their work seems very professional. How was their cost?

And Stevengt3, Westbury is approximately 65 miles from my location. Would you be able to give me a relative ball-park figure as to repair costs (labor-wise) through pictures of the damage?

I appreciate your input gentlemen, hopefully she can be ready for the road once all this snow stops!
