I would like to dyno my F355. Because I have made extensive modifications to the engine and computers, I would like to know how much hp I have added. In a perfect world, I would have done a baseline dyno, but one thing led to another during the winter service, and modifications started without reassembling the car to stock and testing it.

Soooo.... Is there a dyno around that some of the local Ferrari guys have used? A baseline from another F355 is close enough, even a 360 would provide subjective data.

The reason I am asking is because I have spent many many hours on dynos, and I am a big NON believer in comparing one dyno to another.

    Sacramento area would be wonderful.

    thanks, Jay

Thanks for the mention, but unfortunately we do not offer dyno testing. I can't say as I'm too familiar with any shops in the Sacramento area that have dyno'ed a particular number of Ferrari's; however, one particular place comes to mind and that is

They are located right across from Niello BMW on the other side of Fulton Ave, also directly across from Dan Kelly's shop British Car Care if you're familiar with him. If I were you Jay, I'd get in touch with Scott McGhee. I remember he was doing some dyno testing on the Mondial after the S/C install, but can't remember the name of the shop he used. There's quite a few shops around Sacramento that offer dyno testing, and I'm sure you'll come across them if you do some searching. Best of luck...

Jay, check out Midnight Performance in Rancho, http://www.midnightperformance.com/about.php

they have a dyno and he's reasonable on hour cost. busy dyno with the racing crowd, not just the imports. the place I used had never done a Ferrari before and they're way out in roseville. I'll be sending 4 more F-cars over to midnight in the next 2 months here.
