This is not directly related to Ferrari but it is for my Franco-Italian car project. I need to line up some local resources for the project to keep moving. Right now I am in the "paint mode" and need help with powdercoating (smaller parts and valve covers), and full body blocking and respray (no rust, chassis is completely stripped minus suspension) - I am not looking for a show quality (this isn't a Ferrari and the car isn't worth that much), but someone that can do a good prep and lay down a nice coat of solid black at a reasonable price! Any suggestions - including who to avoid - would be welcomed!! THX Franck
I need to get you together with my buddy that's doing an Ariel Square 4. He's an old Austin local and knows EVERYBODY...... LOL! He lives on South Congress by the old Porn Cinema.....it's a TV Studio or something now,....by Trophies..
Moorespeed knows a good paint shop, it's close to him. They spray on the 250SWB when it gets a 'ding'.....
It's a shame we 'banned" regisgtb4....he seemed a very resourceful guy.. Out in Bastrop.. I have his phone number somewhere......
Charles Devitales did great work too, he closed his shop on the East Side and went Bike Racing, with some rich boys.....
I'll shoot him an email. I found a guy in Cedar park who did a friend's Aston Martin but apparently he is not reliable and jon ended up costing nearly double than originally quoted... since the car isn't worth much, I would hate to end up in that scenario.
