    I am directing my first Fashion Show.

    Have a pretty good idea about what we want. The theme of the show will be finalized in a week or so.

    Right now #1 priority is Location (prefer in Southern part of OC (Laguna's, Newport, Dana P, Mission V, etc.).

    It has to hold at least 400 seats +about a hundred or so show participants which will be young females (production crew of about 30, 40+ models, catering, make-up, etc). That's why it needs to have at least a couple of bathrooms, places for a few make-up stations, changing rooms/spaces.

    Any ideas?

    Too far from here - too many people/items to transport around.

    If your thinking Orange County then I would NOT look anywhere further than Seven Degrees. I went to a fashion show there last year, the venue is just amazing. The number is 949.376.1555, if you do go with that location just dont forget to put me on the guestlist. :)

    I'll start calling around pretty soon.
    The Seven used to ask a LOOOT rent $. We'll see if they can be flexible.

    Nocturne, I'll let you know when we get closer to picture taking ..:))

    Speedracer, we'll be holding a couple of casting calls later on.
    We'll be looking for normal girls/women; not stick thin, able to dance/move around, no slutty looks, skunky hair and no attitudes..:)

    If we decide to have the afterparty, that's a different subject..:-D

    I forgot about that, you could also try OCMA. Usually Museums are labeled as boring but they have been doing some pretty cool events there lately. It'd be worth checking out too, I'll try and think of some others..

    Maybe around Fashion Island, the Island Hotel in Newport Beach. I was at a fund raiser their last year put on by an F-chatter. It's owned by the Irvine Co. though, ewwww!!
